Our Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our vegan recipe boxes. Please read them carefully before you open your account and submit your order to us. They tell you who we are, how we will provide the ingredients to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.  
By ordering any of our products, you are agreeing to be legally bound by these terms and conditions which forms the contract between us. 

About Us
We are Vegan Apron limited, a limited liability company registered in England and Wales. Our registration number is 11744716 and our registered address is 8 Leghorn road, London SE18 1SZ.  We operate the website [www.veganapron.com] (“the Website”) and your contract for the purchase of the produce you order through the website is with us. 
You can contact us by writing to us at hello@veganapron.com. 

About You 

By ordering goods from us, you are confirming that you are over 18 years old and are capable of entering into the contract. 
If we have to contact you, we will do so by writing to you at the email address you provide to us when you open your account or update it subsequently. 

The service
We create delicious vegan recipes and supply you with the ingredients, along with recipe cards for you to cook them at home. 
The recipes are shown on our website and you can view what recipes are coming up in the next box. 

We also create organic vegetables and fruits boxes, as well as essential products boxes.

Your account 
You can create your account and subscribe for delivery following the steps set out.
Once you have subscribed, you will continue to receive the same order each week unless you change your settings.  

For Friday delivery, you must submit a new order or change your existing order by midnight on the previous Monday in order to receive your new choice on the next delivery date. For Tuesday delivery, you must submit a new order or change your existing order by midnight on the previous Wednesday in order to receive your new choice on the next delivery date. 
It is your responsibility to manage your account, by keeping your order preferences up to date and your personal and contact details and the details of your payment card current and also cancelling deliveries when you are going to be away or do not want to receive them for any other reason. You can skip deliveries by pausing your subscription in manage subscription.
If you want to close your account, you must do so by following the process 5 working days before your next due delivery date in order to allow us to cancel the delivery.  
We may close your account if you break any of the terms of this agreement, or if we reasonably believe that your use of our service is not being conducted in a reasonable manner, or if we need to end the service or vary it in any material way. 

The Ingredients 
Our produce is all natural and may vary from delivery to delivery in terms of shape, size and appearance but we will do all we can to ensure consistency of quality and weight.  
Any stated weights are approximate. They will be as required for the recipe but cannot be precise. Products will vary from images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. 

Packing may also differ from week to week. We aim to use minimal packaging while at the same time ensuring the protection of the produce. 
Our produce is all of great quality and clearly labelled. However, we pack all produce in the same packing areas. This means that inevitably traces of some produce may be found in other items. So, for example, produce may contain traces of sesame seeds, soya beans, nuts or other allergens, even if they are not specified as contents of the box. 
Additionally, we buy in the packaged ingredients for our boxes (such as tofu sausages). The contents of these packages are clearly labelled, and it is your responsibility to ensure that they are suitable for you in each case. If you are not sure, please contact us on at hello@veganapron.com.  
Severe allergy sufferers should always contact us before placing an order. 

We only sell to the UK. Our website is solely for the promotion of our products in the UK. Unfortunately, we do not accept orders from or deliver to addresses outside the UK. 
For Friday delivery, you must place your weekly order no later than midnight on the previous Monday to ensure it is processed for a delivery on the following delivery date. For Tuesday delivery, you must place your weekly order no later than midnight on the previous Wednesday to ensure it is processed for a delivery on the following delivery date. When you apply for an account it will typically takes us 3 working days to process your application and so your first order should be delivered on the Friday or Tuesday (based on your preference) of the week following your initial order. 

Your order: 
• is your offer to us to buy the specified produce; 
• shall relate only to the produce we confirm we are able to dispatch to you; 
• is accepted by us when we email you confirming dispatch. 
For Friday deliveries, we cannot accept any changes to orders after the Monday midnight before your next delivery day. For Tuesday deliveries, we cannot accept any changes to orders after the Wednesday midnight before your next delivery day. 

If we are unable to supply you with a product or a suitable alternative for any reason, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and will not process your order. If we have already debited your payment card, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible. 
We will try our best to supply exactly what is indicated on our website, including the correct type and any indicated weight of ingredient, but we reserve the right to substitute any ingredients that we may not be able to practically and reasonably obtain with ingredients will feel are a good replacement.  

Cost of delivery is included in the recipe costs specified on the website.  
Our authorized courier company will aim to deliver on the date notified to you in the dispatch confirmation email, but we cannot be specific as to the time and occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control, deliveries may be delayed by a day. If the delay is material, we will contact you about your choices concerning the produce in that delivery.  
Delivery will be to the address you give to us in your account details. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have given us the correct delivery address and any special delivery instructions. We will not be liable for any failure for a delivery to reach you which is the result of inaccurate information supplied by you. 
You should provide us with instructions of a safe place where the order can be left should no one be available at your address to take delivery. If you have not done this and no one is at the delivery address, we shall take this as your authority for the authorized courier to use their reasonable discretion to leave the order in a place that seems to them safe. If we have left your order in your specified safe place, or a place deemed safe by the driver, and it is stolen or damaged, we do not accept any liability, but may offer you a credit or other compensation at our complete discretion. 
You are responsible for opening and inspecting the order on delivery and storing the products correctly and for the preparation and cooking of the products. We accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a result of incorrect storage, preparation or cooking of the products. 

By creating your account and placing orders, you are agreeing to payment for the produce by debits made to the payment card the details of which you have provided. 
You can close your account and terminate your payments by going online, logging on to your account and following these steps:
• click on subscription, click the link 'manage'
• click the link 'subscription settings'

• click 'cancel my subscription'
You will not be charged for closing your account and you can reactivate it at any time. 
If you do not close your account at least 5 working days prior to your next delivery date, we will still do all we can to stop the dispatch of your delivery but if we are not successful, we reserve the right to charge you for it. 
If there is any balance on your account when it is closed, we will credit it to your payment card or make other arrangements for repayment to you as soon as possible less any sums owed to us. 
Payment will be taken from your card on the day we start to pack the produce. Prices indicated on the website include any applicable value added tax. 
It is possible that some of products listed on our website may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch confirmation email. 

You may use any discount code properly issued by us and in accordance with the terms of its issue such as expiry date. Discount codes may only be applied to future orders. They cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash. We reserve the right to cancel discount codes at any time and to reject them if we suspect any fraud. 

Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of your box is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for any delays caused, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to cancel the delivery and receive a refund. 
We are not responsible for defects in pre-packaged materials included in a recipe box where such defect is not reasonably obvious to us when added such product to your order. 

Cancellation, Complaints and Refunds
Cancellation and return of non-perishable goods. 
As a consumer you have the right to return goods purchased over the internet within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. 
This right does not apply if the goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, so it does not apply to boxes containing fresh ingredients (Article 27(1)(c) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Deactivation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013). 
To exercise your right to return non-perishable goods, you must inform us by clearly stating this in writing to our email address above and by returning the goods to the above address. We will reimburse to you the costs of the goods and the cost of delivery but may make a deduction for any loss in value of the goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.  
We will make the reimbursement to your payment card. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. 

If you have any complaint either regarding any box or produce or our service, you should contact us as soon as possible on hello@veganapron.com. We will deal with any complaint as quickly and fairly as we can. 

We want you to enjoy the great produce we supply and everything Vegan Apron offers as part of its service. We are passionate about vegan food and want to provide the best service we can to enhance its image and availability. 
We understand, however, that sometimes things do not always go to plan, and circumstances may occur where you or we feel that the right action would be for us to refund your account.


Replacement or refund of your payment
We will replace or make a refund for any produce which is damaged when it is delivered to you or which is not of suitable quality. At our discretion we may refund the relevant amount to your payment card or make a credit to your account against your next delivery unless you specify that the refund should be credited to your payment card. 
You must notify us within 24 hours where any produce you received is damaged or not of suitable quality, and we may ask you to send us a photograph of the produce where possible or provide some other reasonable evidence of defect. 
Any action on our part shall not be in place of any statutory right you may have. 

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for loss caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the produce. 
We are not liable for business losses. We only supply the produce for domestic and private consumption. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Which laws apply to this contract
These terms are governed by English law, and you and we can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products and our contract only in the English courts.
